    Downloading now…
    My predictions for the episode:

1 – Reference to Mattel Electronic Football for back seat time-passing
2 – The phrase “are we there yet” will be spoken
3 – Going out on a limb on this one – a reference to the fact that Robot Voice’s initials are RV

  2. sjgeek89

That was really fun, thanks for having me .

@mwentworth – you should have come aboard as a “writer” πŸ˜›

@sjgeek89 – Nice to have you aboard. Sorry RV was so tough on you. He can be very judgmental.

  4. Rob O'Hara

Best line of the show: “He sounds like a dangerous radical.” The closing song wasn’t bad either. The whole thing makes me want to go on a road trip! Great job everybody!

Holy Crow! Now I’m worried that I might have ticked off Robot Voice myself…I’ll have to wait until I get home to listen to it though. πŸ˜‰

Robot Voice is right. He is a dangerous radical.

I had to check my recording setup after listening to my segment. Apparently I had managed to save a couple extra audio filters on the recording template I load up when recording audio.

There were some extra EQ (heavy on low frequencies) and light chorus filters in place which I was experimenting with recently. I must have clicked “Yes” to the “Save before closing” dialog on my preferred template well before loading it up to record this segment. Of course, if I had used headphones to review it, I would have caught the problem right away. I must remember to never trust table speakers to determine audio quality.

Maybe next time I’ll try to involve less technology in the process. Perhaps I should use my reel-to-reel recorder. What could go wrong there? πŸ™‚

Still, I had fun sharing a childhood memory, even though I slept through it!

Vintage Volts just got on Robot Voice’s dangerous radical list! πŸ˜›
