The Forever Bulb by Diolight

35 years before it was hip to be green, Kevin Keating and his diode based light bulbs were illuminating split levels across the US. With the promise to burn for 20 years, some of these bulbs could still be burning today. Anyone have one lighting their household?

I have ‘one that just burned out, dang it. It has been in the house since sometime in the 1970’s. Does anyone know if there is a place to purchase these?

Yes I still have 2. Bought I think 12. One just burned out the other day, but still have 2 in use.

I have a Lite-Tronics 75 Watt 20,000 hour bulb, I think it has been in service in a hallway controlled by a dimmer since mid 1980’s … still works! Same era as the DioLight product …
