Welcome to the Retroist Scooby-Doo, Where are You? Podcast. On this episode of the show, I am going to discuss one of my favorite childhood cartoons, Scooby-Doo, Where are You? Ol’ Scoob has been in a bunch of other cartoons and has even made it to the big screen, but I want to talk about the original show that won me over.

I start the episode talking about how I would run home to make sure to not miss an episode. Then, even in the middle of the afternoon, this show would scare me. Yet, I couldn’t resist. After that I talk about the people who helped make the cartoon, the company behind it, and much more.

I'm thrilled to announce a new addition to our podcast family this week: metagirl. She's here to present the top 5 list, adding her unique perspective to our discussion. We're delighted to have her aboard, and her contribution reminds me that our Retroist Podcast family keeps growing. Maybe we'll need to build some new offices soon to accommodate our expanding crew.

Speaking of new additions, it dawns on me that I need to check on that old movie projectionist I hired. He seems to have found a permanent residence in the vault down in the sub-levels. His dedication is admirable, but perhaps it's time for him to take a break from the reels.
