The Retroist is featured in a General Mills Blog post about Monster Cereal Fandom

If you are a regular on the site, you probably know already that it is hard to shut me up on the subject of Monster Cereals (especially this time of year). Well all my crowing and Boo Berry costume wearing has finally paid off. This week I make an appearance on the General Mills Blog, the blog of record for all things General Mills related, in a post about Monster Cereal fandom. Being a fan, I am pretty happy with how it turned out. In the post, I talk about my costume and some of the Monster Cereal merchandise.

If you have a moment, please pop over and give it a read.

What kind of Monster Cereals fan are you? [@] Taste of General Mills

    Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

What do you mean Boo Berry COSTUME wearing?!?!?!?!

  2. The Retroist

    Thanks guys.

Lately it seems I am in this costume a lot, getting warmed up for Halloween.

Gotta get more to sell in the cafe. Cheers!

@hobgoblin238 you should mention how you are helping to spread Monster Cereal in the comments on their site.

Nice! You make a great spokesperson.

  6. @OldSchool80s

Congrats! That is pretty awesome. How about a Frankenberry costume?

Boo Berry is a Rubik’s cube fan? I thought he preferred Simon. Either way, congrats!

Boo-Berry probably likes the cube because he likes trying to make a whole side boo.
    uh…I mean, blue.

Good on GM, recognizing a true fan and bringing back one of the bestest cereal lines to ever be plopped on a kitchen table (and be gobbled up, shortly afterwards).

    I was always a Franken-Berry fellow, myself.
Liked ’em all, of course. But the stores quickly ran out of Chocula, and Boo’s blue munchies were scarce here, for some reason.
Just grew to love the big red guy’s offering.

Again, props to General Mills and their great blog and generous and kind spirit…
Yeah, I’m just fishing for a box of Franken-Berry, at this point.
